The HYDRO FROST Commercial Water Chiller holds nutrient solution and process water at a stable target temperature across three capacities. Every unit runs a high-performance rotary compressor and a titanium coaxial heat exchanger, with oxidation protection across all wetted components so the chiller tolerates fertigated nutrient solution and salt water alike.
Chillers are selected by reservoir volume rather than by room size, from a 400 gallon single-room reservoir up to a 1000 gallon central tank. The units integrate into recirculating deep water culture, aeroponic and fertigation loops, and are equally suited to commercial cold plunge, aquarium and process water applications. All models ship on a pallet and require a licensed electrician for installation.

Installation Requirements
- Install in a well-ventilated, dry, covered area on a firm, level surface
- Maintain minimum 12 in. clearance around the unit and keep the exhaust area clear within 5 feet
- Must be used with a circulation pump and an in-line filter ahead of the chiller inlet
- Loop order: reservoir, filter, pump, chiller inlet, chiller outlet, back to reservoir
- Pump head must be installed within 24 ft of the chiller
- Use Schedule 40 or 80 PVC or equivalent wall thickness to prevent inlet warping
- Allow the unit to stand level and upright for at least 4 hours after delivery before start up
- 5HP requires a three-phase, four-wire leakage protection switch (not supplied); a three-wire switch will trip
- Power supply must be correctly grounded on all models
